Hi Guys, I'm Killian Murphy.
The reason i set up this blog was to help/support up and coming irish acts. Funnily enough it'll be all you bands helping each other out! This blog was set up as a medium for you guys to support fellow acts and to share advice. Here you can pass opinion on any aspects of the Irish music industry. There will also be rating systems set up so any new forming band can look at what good venues there are in their specific area. There will also be fun games and polls just to get your musical minds thinking. The main aim of "Irish Music Matters", is to help give the new Irish talent advice and support and answers to their questions! I will hopefully have advice sections from some of Irelands leading bands. I welcome ALL styles of music to this page and hope that Irish Music Matters can help boost the amazing talent we have on this little country!
